Washington County Veterinary Medical Association (WCVMA) was formed in the 1960's as a way for local veterinarians to exchange ideas and support the Washington County Animal Shelter.
Over the years, the WCVMA has adapted to changes in veterinary practice and laws. We have opened membership to Certified Veterinary Technicians as well as Oregon Veterinarians, and are a resource for state required continuing education credit.
The objectives of the WCVMA are the advancement of the science and art of veterinary medicine; the conservation and protection of animal health; cooperation in public health as it relates to animal health; promotion of the exchange of scientific knowledge, and of fellowship between veterinarians through regular programs and meetings.
